Ingredients

The Brownie Layer

  • 10 tablespoons Unsalted butter
  • cup Sugar
  • ¾ cup Cocoa powder
  • ½ teaspoon Kosher salt
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla extract
  • 2 large Eggs
  • ½ cup Flour

The Oreo Layer

  • 1 package of Oreos

The Cookie Dough Layer

  • ½ cup Unsaltet butter (at room temp.)
  • ¼ cup Brown sugar
  • ¾ cup Sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • cup Flour
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1 cup Semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

The Brownie Batter

  • In a medium saucepan use medium-high heat to melt the butter. Once the butter is melted, add the sugar and cocoa, and whisk to stir until combined. Remove from heat.
  • Continue to whisk the butter mixture as you add the salt, vanilla, and eggs until all the ingredients are well blended.
  • Lastly, add in the flour and make sure to mix it well. Set the batter aside.

The Cookie Dough

  • In a medium-sized mixing bowl cream the sugar, the brown sugar, and the butter together with a mixer. Make sure to scrape the sides down as you add the egg and vanilla. Cream until well mixed.
  • Add the flour, the salt, the baking soda, and the baking powder. Mix on low until everything is blended.
  • Use a spatula or wooden spoon and fold in the chocolate chips. Set the dough aside.

Construction of the Slutty Brownie Cake

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Use a 9x9 inch baking pan. Line the bottom with a layer of tinfoil. Spray the tinfoil with cooking spray.
  • Put the cookie dough into the bottom of the pan. Press down firmly to create an even layer covering the entire bottom of the pan with dough.
  • Use the Oreos to create a single layer on top of the cookie dough. You do not need to overlap and there will be some space between them.
  • Pour the browner batter over the first two layers. Make sure that the batter is evenly spread over all of the Oreos and covering all of the previous layers.
  • Bake for 30-40 minutes. You should test the brownies to be sure that they are properly cooked. You can do this by inserting a knife into the center of the brownies. If the knife comes out sludgy then they aren't ready yet and you can give them another five minutes. Check again. If the knife comes out clean they are done and you can remove them from the oven. Let them cool for at least an hour but two is better. Cut the brownies into squares and serve.
